A great local taco spot! Even gave us a free piece of cake with our meal. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

The staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming, you could just tell they take a lot of pride in their food. We opted for a light option with a zucchini blossom taco in addition to their signature al pastor. The tortillas had a nice flavor and chew but the fillings were the star, by far some the best pork you will find, tender and juicy. I had never tried a zucchini blossom taco before, I was impressed by how much flavor they got into them though. The toppings were all fresh and played their parts well but I could always go for more pineapple. Generous amount of filling to tortilla and it came together in a marvelous mariachi masterpiece that would keep the fiesta going all night. I would happily make this my regular taco joint.

Nice spot at the Spruce Street Harbor Park! I went during the weekday, pre-happy hour time. Me and my husband walked right up without a line and ordered the al pastor tacos. Super delicious! Right amount of spice for those who like it. Next time we go, we'll have to ask if they sell their sauces.

The pastor tacos were phenomenal. Can't wait to come back and try something else! It was a little cold inside, but the food warmed me up.

It took me a very long time to find a good quality taco in my last town. When I finally did, that taco was being served out of a humble truck parked in front of a dingy gas station where down-on-their luck folks would linger and pick cigarette butts out of trash cans. Took about 30 mins to drive there, and I was happy to do it. Now, having just moved to Point Breeze, I find Philly Tacos at an unreasonably convenient 400 feet from my door. It's adorably decorated with happy-looking plants and a fun luchador mask collection hanging on the cheery azure walls. Sadly, I didn't have the opportunity to dine in this time around, but it seems like a nice family-run environment. I had no complaints about the quick & friendly service. Most importantly, they're serving up a damn fine al pastor taco packed with fresh & flavorful ingredients. Loved it! ----- Update: Upping my original review from 4 to 5 stars for two reasons. One — the owner Carlos helped me out of a bind tonight, showing genuine neighborly kindness and hospitality. Two — I tried the pure creamy crunchy sugar cinnamon indulgence that is their churro. I would give this taco joint 6 stars if I could.

Might be the best al pastor tacos I've ever had! Free beer was a bonus. The owner is very sweet.

Great food at this neighborhood spot, got the al pastor tacos and carne enchilada tacos. Went on a Saturday night and no wait for a table. Next time will BYOB!
